Madison Night Market
Hosted by the Madison Central Business District and the City of Madison, the Madison Night Market is a vibrant, free evening market series that transforms downtown Madison into a dynamic open-air shopping and entertainment destination. Each market date brings together over 100 local artisans, makers, food vendors, live music, and pop-up experiences along State Street, Capitol Square, and adjoining downtown blocks.
As a high-energy midsummer event, the Night Market demands meticulous logistics—from booth layout and vendor coordination to street closures, traffic control, and onsite staffing for load-in, operations, and load-out.
Brothers Molloy Events has provided full-service event coordination and operational support for this multi-date market series since 2021. Our team has managed vendor applications and communications, created detailed event worksheets, coordinated street permits and barricade placements, procured necessary infrastructure, and executed on-site operations including traffic management and final teardown—ensuring each market ran smoothly, safely, and delivered an engaging experience for vendors, visitors, and the downtown business community.

Multi-date event operations across the season, including load-in, on-site management, and load-out each market day
Vendor services: managed the MNM email inbox, handled all vendor correspondence, set booth layouts and assignments, issued accept/waitlist notices, and coordinated arrival times and locations
City coordination and compliance: supported Street Use applications, sent reminders to all city agencies, booked Madison Police Department staffing, and confirmed barricade placements
Logistics & site services: procured dumpsters, trash/recycling bins, stages, portable restrooms, signage, and other event infrastructure; collected all vendor COIs; managed vendor payment reminders
On-site staffing: deployed (5) BME staff for vendor load-in, management, trash oversight, signage install, and end-of-night load-out; plus (3) BME staff dedicated to traffic control at key barricades
Event documentation & insights: drafted the vendor application, created the mandatory vendor meeting/video, built the detailed event worksheet for setup/execution/teardown
